WHAT CAN WE DO INDIVUDALLY TO RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND IMPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AWARENESS?
Respect for the environment and awareness of protection is an important issue today. Every person must realize the seriousness of global enviromental problems. Every person has a few responsibilities to do.
Firstly, it is important to join in activities such as planting trees to protect green areas. Besides, trees are also important for wild animals. In this way, it is important in the ecosystem.
It is also important to recycle waste correctly. We should use recycling bins in our lives. We must reduce the use of waste that harms the environment and be careful not to leave it in nature.
We should use electricity and water in a controlled manner. We shouldn’t waste it.
Finally, every person must fulfill their responsibilities for a better World.
45% of root crops, fruit and vegetables produced globally is lost or wasted per year.
33% of all food produced globally is lost or wasted every year.
25% of the food wasted globally could feed all 795 million undernourished people in the World.
8% of all greenhouse gas emissions each year are due to food loss and waste.
